New Cuomo Executive Order

🟥Our ability to notarize and witness documents (including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills) REMOTELY has been extended (again) to June 6th.

🟥Since many RESIDENTIAL tenants cannot afford to pay their rent, a tenant can request to or otherwise consent to (but cannot be forced to) use their security deposit to meet their monthly rental obligation. If they do so, the security deposit must be repaid over the course of 12 months (1/12 per month) starting no less than 90 days from the date the security deposit is used as rent. 

🟥No landlord can charge a late fee for late rent that occurred from March 20th to August 20th. 

🟥No evictions or mortgage foreclosure proceedings can be brought for a limited time.

🟥All schools must remain closed for the rest of this school year.
